I can think of many happy memories of Ellen, and times when you stood there and thought that’s ‘classic Ellen’ like when we were around 10
and she lost her shoe at my house and instead of looking for it she decided to walk home with one shoe! I think friendship was important to Ellen and I’m so glad that while she was with us, she was surrounded by people who loved her for just being her.
Everyone has days where they feel down and that’s okay. It’s okay not to be okay. But it’s important that you talk to someone, even if that person just sits and listens. Don’t carry on pretending everything is okay, no one is perfect! Tell a friend, your family or a someone on a helpline. Remember that you are not alone.
